Kuroda pitches perfect game with one hit, Dodgers beat Braves 3-0
Too bad I missed the game today, but by the recap of things, it sounds like Kuroda was downright amazing today. What can I say about him? I anticipated a string of great pitching performances from him ever since he came off the DL. He definitely has the stuff and the moxie to succeed in the Major Leagues. The Blue Crew are now tied for 1st place with the D’backs, and the NL West is officially pitiful. As a firm believer of being solid up the middle of the baseball diamond, fielding Garciaparra and Kent up the middle is just plain riduculous. But if it works, who am I to complain?
The MVP: Hiroki Kuroda channeling David Cone.
The good: Garciaparra is raking. I guarantee he will not get injured anymore.
The bad: One hanging slider to Tex.

Kuroda was sensational last night. Granted, the Braves offensively have been anything but consistent this season. Still, Kuroda had a dream night last night. I counted three pitches out of his 91 that he missed location with, including the Teixeira double in the eighth (Martin set up down and in, but the ball stayed up and Tex turned on it).
Bud.
