Man-ram debuts, Dodger offense no better, lose 2-1
Well the debut of Man-Ram was quite up and down wasn’t it? We got to see how great of a hitter he was, pounding out 2 singles in the game. However, he was up there in the clutch and grounded into a double play. But it is clear he has a presence up there and all he needs is some production behind him so he can get something good to hit instead of having to settle for singles or walks. So which Dodger is going to step up?
In other news, the pitching on both teams was very solid. Kershaw and Johnson dueled for 6 innings and both threw 75 and 89 pitches respectively. Johnson gave up an unearned run due to poor D and Kershaw was lights out registering 1 walk only. Then Chan Ho came in and subsequently blew the lead. It’s very disappointing when you see two great pitchers going at it and they have to be removed from the game before their time. I guess thats what you get when you send up a young arm versus an old timer.
The good: Manny looks solid. Although he wasn’t spectacular.
The bad: Can anyone else hit? Bat Blake behind Manny?
The ugly: Blue now 3 games behind ‘Backs.
