Extra Innings

Very average game played by both teams today. The pitching w as very average, and the hitting was not anything to take home. But what would be expected to be a loss, turned into a tough win and thats what the Dodgers need to do if they are a playoff team. They need to beat up on the sub .500 guys and sometimes you need to tough it out. Kershaw was good today, but not great, and the offense stranded a lot of runners. But the Pirates are over, and the Dodgers are up against the Hated Ones next. Every series with the hated ones is tough, but we are lucky to miss Lincecum again. In fact, if the rotation and Lincecum’s arm stays in tact (he threw 118 pitches today after throwing 130 something in his last outing) the Blue don’t have to face Timmy until the last game of the season. Whew.
